Illinois Articles of Incorporation Templates | IL Department of Business Services

The Illinois Articles of Incorporation must be submitted to the Illinois Secretary of State. Here, an Incorporator must gain approval from this governing entity to form a corporation in compliance with Illinois State Law. Some cases may require additional paperwork and any such documentation must be attached to the articles themselves. There will also be a required payment in the form of a Filing Fee and the Initial Franchise Tax. The Filing Fee is $150.00 while the minimum Franchise Tax is $25.00. Thus the minimum Filing Fee will be $175.00. All forms and fees have been designed and calculated in compliance with the Illinois Business Corporation Act of 1982.
